We’re thrilled to invite you to The Result of Habits — the first solo exhibition in Paris by Alexis Olin, presented by Lezar House and Artverse as an exciting collaboration.
Olin’s work doesn’t offer answers, it opens doors. He masters a kind of storytelling that doesn't show you what you must see, but unveil you the result of what you can hide. His paintings, which seem animated by a mysterious energy, will confront you and reflect you in distorted mirrors.
He affirmed through years his own, instantly recognizable style, the proposition of a universal dialogue between an ultra-contemporary, cross-medium inspiration, and the messages of existential mysteries deeply rooted in art history.
You will embark in an organic world of spirits and objects, where a storytelling powered by memories will bounce at the rhythm of a singular, continuous, universal, divine, lurid… Movement.
This refreshing exhibition unfolds across two complementary spaces:
🎨 The physical gallery showcases Olin’s latest series, The Result of Habits: acrylic works born of structure, tension, and precision. A rigorous exploration of memories and dreams, childhood and self-projection, through unique compositions dancing with movement, color, and forms. A visual poetry of obsessions, an intense equilibrium between discipline and freedom.
🌐 The digital area will invite visitors into Olin’s inner world, an immersive journey through his imagery of shapes, symbols, and characters. You’ll make a magical and meditative encounter, like a step into a waking dream, with memory, mythology, and the ghosts of expressionist and surrealist masters.
